Shipping policy

All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays, there is no shipment of orders in July) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. There might be potential delays due to high volumes of orders or postal service problems that are outside of our control.

In-store pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at Sjakkhuset, Tower As, Storgata 42, 4307 Sandnes, Norway. After placing your order and selecting in-store pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 3 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. 

Times and days for in-store pick up is by appointment. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.

International Shipping

We ship world wide orders under 5kg. For orders over 5kg please contact shop@norwaychess.no.

At this time, we do not ship to Afghanistan, Brunei, Bhutan, Ecuador, Equatorial Guinea, Kuwait, Laos, Libya, Nauru, Nicaragua, Russia, Solomon Islands, Syria, Tajikistan, Timor-Leste, Turkmenistan, Ukraina, Yemen.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Tower AS is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us. 

If you haven’t received your order within 20 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at shop@norwaychess.no with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Please see the full return policy page for more information.

We accept returns up to 14 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return. 

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at shop@norwaychess.no with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
